The Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Center (LALCC) of Central Connecticut State University invites you to attend its inaugural conference, “LIVING IN LAS AMÉRICAS” on October 15, 2019.

This year’s conference theme is “Migration and Communities”

This year’s conference will include both Latin American and Latinx experiences, with a focus on the role of migration across the Américas, past and present. The conference will include plenary talks, a lunch, and concurrent panels, workshops and roundtables in the morning and afternoon. Bringing together researchers, teachers, students, and activists from across Connecticut and the nearby region, the event will provide an opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on this important topic for both the state and the nation.
