Latinas & Retirement:  Realities & Real Possibilities in CT
Presented by:
Marilyn Diaz, Esq., AARP CT Volunteer
Ingrid Alvarez, CT State Director, Hispanic Federation

There is a retirement savings crisis in America and it hits Latinas the hardest. Only one third of private sector Latino employees have access to an employer sponsored retirement plan and 4 of 5 Latino households have less than $10,000 in retirement savings. It’s time to reverse that trend and put our futures first. Ingrid and Marilyn will share their personal stories and passions, as well as highlight what is happening right here in CT to help alleviate the crisis in the near future and for generations to come.
