The Kennedy Center’s Park City Youth Project

The Kennedy Center has a fantastic, FREE opportunity for Bridgeport teens ages 14-18 to explore career options, learn pre-employment skills, meet with local leaders in different industries, go on cultural trips and enjoy art and recreation activities and pursue volunteer projects.

The program, Park City Youth Project (PCYP) will meet at Housatonic Community College from 10am-3pm Monday through Friday from July 24-August 25. Each participant will receive a free monthly transit pass and will get an evaluation that can be used as a job reference and a certificate of completion at the program’s end. The program is open to teens of all abilities.

We know that there are many out there who still do not have anything to do for the summer. We would be so appreciative if you could help us spread the word by sharing this great opportunity with colleagues in any way possible.

Interested families should  contact Sara Purdy-Schwartzer at 203-365-8522 ext. 248 or at spurdy@kennedyctr.org.
