On February 29th, 2020, from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, CT Against Violence (CAV), with the support of Office of Planning and Economic Development (OPED) and The City of Bridgeport, will hold its 5th Annual: A Hip Hop Expression of Black History at the Margaret Morton Center, 999 Broad Street, Bridgeport, CT. Event is co sponsored by Bridgeport Public Schools.
The objective of this event is to celebrate the rich history of Connecticut Hip Hop music culture and use this opportunity to address gun violence in the community amongst our youth. We will ask the pioneers, legends, award recipients and attendees to help mentor My Brother’s Keeper’s Youth members and other youth throughout the city.
