Eddie Palmieri, the Puerto Rican Latin jazz legend and founder of Harlem River Drive, is headed to the Quick Center in Fairfield for a concert, and you're invited to attend at a discount.
The program, "Eddie at 80," is a Sunday afternoon that highlights his most influential and popular works from throughout his storied career. It will leave you ready to dance the night away on Nov. 5, starting at 3.

First making history by winning the inaugural Grammy award for Best Latin Recording in 1975, Eddie Palmieri has made an incredible mark in the world of jazz music and was honored in 2013 with both the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Latin Grammys and the NEA Jazz Masters Award, the nation’s highest honor in jazz, recognizing him as a true American Musical icon.
The Puerto Rican Parade of Fairfield County has been invited to collaborate with this event and will set up a table to collect donations for relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
