With temperatures recently dropping from the 70s to the 40s, Bridgeport residents are invited to come in from the cold for much-needed care.
Free medical care will be provided for adults in the community, all courtesy of St. Vincent’s Medical Center’s third annual Medical Mission at Home.
More than 400 doctors, nurses and volunteers will be mobilized at Cesar Batalla School, 606 Howard Ave., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 to provide a variety of services.
It's all free to those 18 and older. No insurance is required.
Services include medical exams, vaccinations, mammograms, haircuts, reading glasses, foot-washing services, podiatry, behavioral health services, connections to community providers and follow-up care.
