Eddie Martinez, "The Tranzcendent One," is a new member of GBLN's board. Eddie was born and raised in Bridgeport and is a 2003 graduate of Warren Harding High School. He graduated from Housatonic Community College in 2013 and is on his way to a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from the University of Bridgeport.
Between high school and college, Eddie served in the U.S. Army, which he credits for playing a "huge role into the man that I have become." Eddie bravely toured Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom in 2005 and 2006.
Today, Eddie hosts the CT Latin Soundtrack Podcast, which he founded to bring awareness to Latino(a) people or organizations doing great things for the community. He hopes the podcast inspires young people to do the same.
He also built TOP (Transcendent Outlook Podcast) Station, where he produces audio and video for his own podcasts and allows other creatives to record their own.
