The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Bridgeport (HCCGB) is requesting donations for our 2019 Three Kings Day Celebration.
Three Kings Day, or the Day of the Epiphany, is celebrated on Jan. 6. The holiday is widely celebrated in Puerto Rico and Latin America as well as in Europe, and is based on the Biblical story that tells of the Magi, or three kings, who saw a star on the night Christ was born and followed it for 12 days to Bethlehem.
Every year, the HCCGB will host a Three Kings Day celebration for underprivileged children in the Greater Bridgeport region. Today, we are asking for your help in the form of donations such as gift cards and toys.
Kindly consider donating for this special occasion. Donations can be mailed, or dropped off at our office located at 853 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06604. We are also happy to pick-up toys at donors premises, kindly respond to info@hccgb.org for pickup arrangements.
