Calling all past and future Bridgeport PechaKucha storytellers!
NO PREVIOUS STORYTELLING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! EVERYONE HAS STORIES!!!
We have decided to attempt a VIRTUAL PechaKucha with the hopes that it will serve to connect people in new ways around visual stories!
We are gearing up for a VIRTUAL Volume 8 of PechaKucha Night on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 with the theme “Food for Thought” and are looking for presenters. “FOOD FOR THOUGHT” is a broad theme and can focus on stories about actual food and/or it can be about ANYTHING that is worth thinking seriously about! We all have stories that can provide “food for thought!”
In case you missed the earlier events, a PechaKucha is a community forum centered on succinct lightening presentations to bring creative minds together for a night of inspiration, networking, and fun. Each presenter speaks with 20 slides which advance automatically every 20 seconds. For the May 19th event, everyone will use the PechaKucha creation tool to pre-record their presentation. If you are not sure how to put together your PechaKucha, we've got you covered! We will have a virtual workshop on Saturday, February 27th at 3:00 p.m. for both planning a PechaKucha and using this online creation tool.
Please register for the workshop here: http://bit.ly/Vol8-PKWorkshop
As a presenter, you will join a growing community of 80+ others whose stories have been enjoyed by over 500 event attendees and thousands of online viewers. All of our previous presenters are eligible to tell again, so your proposals will be welcomed!
