Calling all past and future Bridgeport PechaKucha storytellers!
Our next Bridgeport Pechakucha will be the culmination of the Bridgeport Art Trail and will be on Sunday, Nov. 14th at the BIJOU THEATRE. It will also be our second HYBRID PechaKucha with people presenting and attending in person and virtually!
In case you missed our earlier events, a PechaKucha is a community forum centered on succinct lightening presentations to bring creative minds together for a night of inspiration, networking, and fun. For example, each presenter speaks from 20 slides which advance automatically every 20 seconds.
Above all, as a presenter, you will join a growing community of 100+ others whose Bridgeport stories have been enjoyed by over 1,000 event attendees and 8,000 online viewers. The theme for Volume 12 will be REINVENTION & DISCOVERY to honor the creativity and ingenuity of the constantly evolving place and people that are Bridgeport.
NO PREVIOUS STORYTELLING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! EVERYONE HAS STORIES TO TELL!!! Have an idea for a story? Fill out this short PechaKucha proposal form here. Furthermore, if you are interested in sharing a story, but don't know how to put a PechaKucha together or aren't sure what story to tell, attend the proposal workshop on Sept. 25th at 2:00 p.m. to learn about how to use it. Sign up here.
