FEMA has extended the application deadline to apply for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Blue Roof program to Jan. 3, 2018.

The extension gives residents who were unable to meet the original deadline an opportunity to fill out the required Right of Entry form. ROE forms are necessary in order to perform assessments of the home and to install the plastic sheeting.

In addition to calling the Blue Roof hotline, residents may visit their municipality emergency management centers to fill out a hard copy ROE, or receive additional help in filling out the ROE.

Residents should NOT fill out an additional ROE if one was already submitted. For more information call 888-ROOF-BLU (888-766-3258).
